Inline five-axis vision dispensing combines machine-vision recognition, coordinated motion and controlled adhesive delivery. It is intended for complex dispensing paths and flexible production in automotive electronics, general electronics and medical-device manufacturing.
Five-axis interpolation allows the nozzle angle and direction to change along a path. Pressure and volume control support consistent deposits, while vision positioning and conveyor tracking locate workpieces as they move through the line.
Image-based programming simplifies operator setup. Supported process primitives include points, straight lines, irregular polylines, arcs and circles. Communication interfaces and MES integration can connect the dispenser with surrounding automation.
The original application article discusses replacing repetitive manual dispensing on automotive and renewable-energy circuit boards to reduce missed or misplaced deposits, improve throughput and reduce operator workload. The appropriate configuration depends on the board, material and production process.
